In this page you can discover the finalist for the Music Video discipline in the Green Area (Western, Central and Eastern Europe).
The winners of the Semi-final event in each discipline will take part in the MArteLive Biennial in October 2022 in Rome, Italy. They will also have the chance to participate in Art residencies and get relevant prizes.

Magdalena Zielinska

Warsaw, Poland

A graduate of the University of The Arts in London. Director of short films and commercials, movement director, and former contemporary dancer.
Magdalena directed music videos and short films, of which many were shown and awarded at festivals in Poland and abroad including SXSW, Miami Short Film Festival, PL Music Video Awards, Bolton International Film Festival. Her credits include commercials and branded content for brands such as Adidas, Pepsi, MasterCard, Client Earth.

Marcin Kluczykowski

Lodz, Poland

Fourth-year student of Film and Television Direction at Lodz Film School. Earned a PhD from the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Active in the field of cultural animation and theatre.


Melinda Kádár

Budapest, Hungary

Melinda Kádár is a director of experimental animations based in Budapest, Hungary. She also teaches and creates comissioned animation. She naively believes that art has the capacity to yank our souls back from the brink of oblivion, and she will continue to use her chosen medium, animation, to prove this to the best of her ability.

Hanna Seidel

Ludwigsburg, Germany

2011-2015 Bachelor of Arts in cultural studies and media works at University Hildesheim. Since 2016 Hanna has been studying directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. 2019 she founded and directed the successful petition to criminalise Upskirting in the German Bundestag. Hanna’s films play with gender roles and question the view on them. Awards: First Steps Award, ADC Talent Gold, Golden Andy and many more. She works in the fields of fiction and advertisement.

Valentin Pitarch

Paris, France

Valentin Pitarch was born in Lucerne, Switzerland in 1993.
After completing the preliminary course at the Lucerne School of Design & Art, he left Switzerland in 2011 and moved to Paris, where he studied 2D animation at L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués (LISAA). He started working for several Parisian animation studios: Xilam, Cyber Group Studio, Amuse Animation. In 2019, he leaves animation to focus on directing music videos, an art form he discovered as a teenager when he made small scale music videos for Swiss rappers.
To date, he has directed about 30 music videos for numerous French artists such as Barbara Pravi, Klon, Kalika, Adam Naas, Chéri, Requin Chagrin, Mélodie Lauret, etc..
