Simone Giampaolo

London, United Kingdom

My name is Simone Giampaolo and I’m a London-based Director with an insatiable appetite for meaningful storytelling and humorous characters. In 2013 I graduated with distinction from the BA (Hons) Computer Animation Art & Design course at the National Centre for Computer Animation in Bournemouth (UK). Throughout my career I’ve written and directed over ten multi-award winning original short films, including the Oscar®-shortlisted Only a Child.

In the past years I’ve been working on a multitude of commissioned projects (TV series, commercials, short films and specials) for clients such as Sky, Netflix, Google, Cartoon Network, Disney, LEGO, Nickelodeon, Marvel, Pokémon and BBC, while collaborating with world-class studios like Jellyfish Pictures, Axis Studios, Blue Zoo, Ritzy Animation and Aardman (which has been representing me as Short-Form Director since 2018).
I’m also a board member of London ACM Siggraph and View Conference, and between projects I enjoy mentoring young animators and upcoming filmmakers by hosting lectures and masterclasses at international universities, festivals and conferences.

Eugen Merher

Berlin, Germany

Eugen was born October 24th 1990 in Chisinau, Moldova and moved to Germany when he was five years old. At that time he discovered his passion for filmmaking with his parents’ DV camera that he used for cheap action flicks with his Russian friends. After almost 10 years of being a student, pleasing his parents with a bachelor’s degree in communications and making lots of spec commercials and short films at the infamous Filmakademie Ludwigsburg, he is finally ready to tackle the real world with his storytelling skills.

Ramazan Kilic

Instambul, Turkey

Ramazan Kılıç who was born in Ağrı, East of Turkey 1993 studied Cinema, and Literature at İstanbul Şehir University in Istanbul. His latest film “The School Bus” competed at many prestigious film festivals. Such as Clermont-Ferrand, Leeds, PÖFF, Odense, Palm Springs, and Indy Shorts. He finished his upcoming short film project Things Unheard Of. And, he is a producer for The Moisture which will have its World Premiere at Orizzonti Short Film Competition on 79th. Venice Film Festival.

Spinning Path started when Producer Simeon Costello and Writer/Director Tommy Gillard crossed paths in deepest Devon. Building on a shared love of weird cinema, they sought to create equally obscure short films. And they haven’t looked back.

Working with a pool of talent across the South West, Spinning Path has made four films to date, from a gloriously gothic Super 8 silent vampire short to a sweaty, homoerotic portrayal of…badminton.

Alex Tsilifonis

Athens, Greece

Originally from Athens Greece, Alex is a London-based writer/director. He directed his first short film, Twinsanity, at the age of 18, and ever since he pursued a career as a filmmaker. His work centers around strong, character-driven films, and his preferred genre is dark comedy.
To date he has directed 7 narrative short films and his next project is "The T3st" starring Matthew Stagg (Marrowbone, Macbeth) and Killian Murphy (Normal People, Call the Midwife) funded by the GFC, ERT and NFTS.

Alex made his TV comedy debut with "Luv’s Story", starring Niki Vakali (Worlds Apart), and has successfully raised capital for his debut feature film, "National Road". Apart from his debut feature, he is developing two TV series. "Ben and The End", a dark comedy about Charron, the mythical Greek ferryman is trying to keep suicidal Ben alive optioned by Papaya Films and "Antiparos", a whodunit murder mystery series based on the novel "Crimes in Antiparos", by Nikos Faroupos.
In recent years, Alex has been mentored by Alexandros Avranas, winner of the Venice Silver Lion award, and he took part in the CIAK 2019 Screenwriting Lab. He is the recipient of the 1st National Prize of the Nespresso Talents (Cannes Film Festival 2020), his latest short film "Rookie" screened at OSCAR and BAFTA Qualifying festivals and in 2021 and he directed "The Cellist", an advert for McDonald’s (Porsche Awards 2022).

Niall Shukla

Camberley, United Kingdom

Niall Shukla is an award-winning writer and director of dramatic and commercial films. His latest project A DOLL DISTORTED has been BAFTA qualified, selected for over 60 festivals and won over 13 Jury Awards including “Best Short” at Rhode Island International Film Festival. His work has been picked for Oscar qualifying SITGES festival, BAFTA accredited Aesthetica and London Short Film Festival. Alongside his film direction, he has also won multiple awards for his Visual Effects and Editing work. He graduated at the top of his class with a degree in Economics & Philosophy.

Niall is also an renowned artist. He is one of the pioneers in the cracked glass art movement.
His artwork currently involves creating sculptures out of glass to create the impression of human faces. His work deals with the uniqueness of human identity. Each glass sculpture is completely one of a kind and impossible to replicate, like a fingerprint. his work had received over millions of views on across social media.

Lucerne, Switzerland

Liv Burkhard and Kim da Motta are a visual storytelling duo from Switzerland, based in Lucerne. In their visual work they explore topics such as identity, gender, surveillance and escapism. They work both with digital and analog video and photography.

Sam Ainsworth

London, United Kingdom

I was born and raised in London, and first completed my Bachelors in Archaeology and History before doing a masters in film directing. My short film Cabrón won numerous awards worldwide, and led to a career creating other short films, as well as documentaries, commercials, and a myriad of other bits and pieces. I'm now working on longer form scripts alongside learning the bagpipes!
