Anushka Chkheidze
Tiblisi, Georgia
Anushka Chkheidze is up and rising Georgian electronic music producer. She has spent her childhood in Kharagauli where she went to music school and sang folk songs in the youth ensemble. She was also part of a “Street Dance Group”. At the age of 11, Anushka started chanting at a small chapel in the village.
She describes the time spent there as magical and she thinks that her music is deeply influenced by those childhood years.
Despite her very young age of 22, her music is very well though and intelligent. Her work includes music for film and theater. Anushka is one of the participants of “Sleepers Poets Scientists”. “Halfie” is her debut album where she feels her new, completely different side is born. This album was one of the IMPALA 2020 winners.
The Second album “Move 20-21” is a mind journey through space and time without physical activity. Anushka Chkheidze wrote a piece for Gori women’s choir, which was her childhood dream. It will be presented at The Close Encounters Festival.

My journey started from making music in my bedroom in the middle of nowhere to studying in one of the most well known and respected electronic music universities in the world, pursuing my artist career and being a part of an event organisation brand for young upcoming artists.
I spent 7 years learning about music, playing at student parties to big clubs in my home country and abroad. Not long ago i started to get noticed by other artists and even radios. Suddenly bigger and bigger projects started coming and a lot of them are already in the works with respected people in the music industry saying that it has big potential.

I have participated in Latvian Music olympiad in 2019 where I was nominated 2nd place in semifinals and got a recognition for the best composition.
Im now studying Music Education in Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music Batchelor degree.

The artist is a person who likes to explore and seek for emotions in life. Those emotions turn into music, which helps the artist become a greater human being.
“Aural” music is a creature which has variety of feelings, but usually same as the artist – wants to share positive “feels”.

I started playing drum&bass back in the 2019. I started from liquid, deep, neuro drum and bass.
Throughout my growth in the scene I’ve experimented with many different genres like gabber, jungle, tekno, but now I decided to mainly focus on dnb.
Since 2019, I have played in many events and festivals around Lithuania.
I have been recognized by local radio stations.

Growing up, I always felt a burning passion for music. I spent many hours of my teenage years deconstructing and constructing sound equipment, learning the inner workings of the tools that I would eventually end up using to produce music for others to dance to and enjoy. Although I have taken a couple detours in my DJing career – earning a Master’s Degree and landing work in the laser technology field – I have remained steadfastly devoted to music as a science and as an art form.
I draw influence from a variety of genres, preferring not to limit myself in any way, but focusing on house music and its subgenres.
After all the ups and downs over the last decade, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. I earned my Audio Producer Diploma at Deutsche Pop Akademie, and I feel ready to do what I love, to do what I always felt driven to do.
