Linas Kaziulionis K ART 7

Linas Kaziulionis has successfully defended his painting diploma at Vilnius Art Academy, 2018 granted professional artist status provided by Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. Linas is currently studying for a master’s degree in painting.

He has been active in the art world for more than seven years, participates in interdisciplinary and painting projects, and at the beginning of the year he founded the public creative studio K ART 7 in the Old Town of Vilnius, where artistic presentations are gaining momentum.
The artistic experience of L. Kaziulionis can be divided into two parts: one – muralistic art, which made the artist known even outside the country, and secondly – classical painting, which is interesting for its depth, conceptual and freshness. L. Kaziulionis’ large-scale muralistic works have become the landscapes of the city or certain subcultures inviting to dialogue with the artists and history of the past. This is a favorite theme by Linas Kaziulionis, which is escalated in more than one of his works – well-known works of classical art are interwoven with the images and details of the modern world, questioning their influence and place in the life of modern man. The use of different authors, characters, installation of works using the latest technologies becomes a leitmotif of L. Kaziulionis work, enticing even a young audience who is not interested in art. Meanwhile, classical oil painting is very intimate, small-format, contemplative.
1. The work of art “Dadaist Mona Lisa in the 21st Century” is a combination of the fragments of “Mona Lisa” and math problems. Technological solutions are added to the painting. This work is painted with 3D effect; Mona Lisa is wearing special glasses made of light tubes. Objective of this project – exhibition of visual art in new and interactive manner, using innovation and technologies, and expanding the limits of the understanding of traditional art.
2. “Lady with an Ermine” and “La Belle Ferronniere” transformed into modern ladies, who play chess with their headphones on. According to the author of this idea, this game, as a symbol of wisdom, courage, insight and diligence, is a particularly suitable detail for the University’s exterior.
3. In today’s world, we face a huge flow of information, which makes it extremely difficult for everyone to deal with it. We can say that information is a very good and useful thing, but from another angle, a person seems to “close” his information bubble and can no longer process it correctly or find reliable information, which has recently become a very big problem in today’s digital in the world.
Soen Bravo
Madrid, Spain
César de Fernando Bravo, better known as Soen, was born in Madrid in 1987.
From the year 2000 he begins to paint graffiti, which gives him experience in the spray painting technique and broadens the field of artistic creation.
His formal artistic studies are his two years of Artistic Baccalaureate at the Escuela de Arte number 3 in Madrid.
Since then, there are numerous artistic works that he has done in small and large format, in Madrid, the rest of Spain and other countries.
At the same time, he has developed a personal style of painting characterized by mixing the decomposition of figurative elements, with superimposed shapes and letters from his graffiti style, uniting all this with unfinished forms and some carefree brushstrokes.
He participates in numerous urban art exhibitions and festivals such as the international Art Aero Rap that is held every year in La Bañeza, León (Spain).
In 2017, he is selected with his work “Teta y sopa” for the exhibition of the 52 Reina Sofía Prize for Painting and Sculpture, in Madrid.
In 2018 he is the artist selected to make a large-format participatory mural in the district of Arganzuela, within the Sharing Walls program of the Madrid City Council.
In 2019 he made a participatory mural with the students at the IES Alameda de Osuna, within a social program supported by the Barajas District Board.
This same year, he mounts his first solo exhibition at Writers Madrid, with the title of “Alegal”.
Also, he carries out a mural, the result of the project of the Department of Culture and Equality of Colmenar Viejo, Madrid, which opens on the 25th of this month, International Day against Gender Violence.
In 2020 and part of 2021, given the circumstances due to the coronavirus, he takes the opportunity to make several oil paintings on canvas, creating a series with the title “States of alarm”. In May 2021 he is selected for the artistic residence “Street art City” France, in which he leaves a mural and a canvas for his gallery.In July 2021 he makes a large format mural for the “Vertical Gallery” project in Reinosa, Cantabria, Spain.
In September 2021 he participates in the Pompei Street Art (Italy) and in October in the I Art Madonie project, Sicily, Italy.
In April 2022 he participates in the Gargar festival in Penelles, Catalonia, Spain.
In may, he participates in the MX Tour, Morlaix, Bretain, French.
The artist is considered versatile in terms of the themes of his works. In some, he intends to convey a message of social, political and economic denunciation, trying to create a debate between the legal and the moral. In others, certain traits of tenderness, due to personal experiences, and even touch on themes of a historical and costumbrist nature.

| My greatest influence is the daily routine of our time. The stimuli can now be infinite enough if only you train your operating system in such a way of thinking. Architecture, urban scenery are some thing i really observe. I would describe my job as an emotional escape or otherwise as a spiritual revelation. It’s obvious that it’s geometric, sometimes more rigid in terms of structure and forms and sometimes more free. Abstract compositions with handwriting scriptures, motifs, and stylized forms are some of the elements I have been studying and working on lately. The spontaneity and the element of improvisation play a decisive role in the creative process and it’s an internal necessity that guides me through the appropriate combination of color-form-object.
