Isla Kume is a dynamic duo formed by singer, cellist and producer Laura Sorribas and violist and producer Andrés Campos. Both artists were joined by the ambition of creating new sounds, innovating and mixing their classical background with new trends and genres like pop, metal, dubstep, hip hop, trap… Their music is energetic, special and new, and their lyrics are transgressive; they carry a message of fighting for what you want and for whoever you love. Soon they will release their first Ep, with the ambition that someday they will achieve the goal of playing in festivals and important stages.
Her debut-EP released by TIKS Rekords in February 2021 gained immediate attention both locally and internationally, paving the way for a full-length album set to be released in early 2022.
In her fantasy world, where genres or expectations don’t exist, Maris takes the listener for a sound journey where traditional music and jazz meet electronic pop production, which are all intertwined into effortless unity. Some of the most characteristic features of Maris’s music are her dark, yet airy vocals, and the bold minimalistic use of the violin, compared to the likes of Sudan Archives and Maarja Nuut.

Revo was born three years ago out of an unexpectedly successful experiment of a combination of different musical elements. Revo’s sound is powerful yet melodic, each song being a fusion of styles that never fails to engage their audience. The group is recognized for their use of crying guitars and dramatic, distorted vocals, which when paired with the grooviness of the drum and bass duo, creates an irresistible sound.
The group is highly influenced by powerhouses such as Pantera, Opeth, Rage Against The Machine, and Porcupine Tree. Revo have performed at Berlin venues including Toast Hawaii, Maschinenhaus, Musik & Frieden, Badehaus, and Marie Antoinette. ‘An amalgam of psyche rock, hints of a grunge sway, with prog rock affections around the edges and Leo Barbato’s vocal performance bathed in punk tones.´

My name is Louis Durdek. I am french songwriter living in Nantes, near the Atlantic Ocean coast that inspired me so much over the years. To be precise, I am a neo-indie-folk-rock singer. I usually write introspective songs about my journeys, my lost lovers, loneliness and the complexity of the human soul ! I’ve been writing my own song since the age of 20, and ten years later I still consider myself as in need of new challenges.
That is why I’d like to sing without my band for the contest (and also because it is easier in the coronavirus crisis). I am here to present my work, in a proud and yet humble way.
