Jurors

Marko Ladusic

Since 1998 Marko is the professor on the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, the Department of Applied Sculpture and the professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, at the Department of Stage Design. Marko is also the Art Director of two cultural centres (District and Kocka/Cube) in Belgrade in the period between 2005 and 2008, the coordinator of BELEF (The Belgrade Summer Festival) and the author of the project Terratorija from 2008 to 2014..

Andrija Vasiljevic

Zlatan Gracanac

Born in Kraljevo in 1991. Graduated in sculpture 2014 at the Faculty of Applied Arts in the class of professor Dragoljub Dimitrijević. In 2015, he graduated as a master of applied art. Jurors

Žilvinas Landzbergas                       Kaunas, Lithuania

ŽILVINAS LANDZBERGAS (1979, Kaunas, Lithuania) studied sculpture at the Vilnius Academy of Art in 2004. From 2005 to 2007 he completed a postgraduate artistic residence at De Ateliers in Amsterdam. From 2011 to 2013 he headed an independent artistic space in Vilnius. Žilvinas Landzbergas sometimes works as a curator and teaches at the Academy of Art in Vilnius, where he since 2015 is doing Phd Artistic Research “The Longing for Body”. In his extensive works he often collaborates with various artists. He has presented many permanent works in public space (in Utrecht and in Vilnius). In 2008 he was awarded the main prize of the art publisher Thieme Art. In 2017 he represented Lithuania at the 57th Venice Biennale with the installation R. Landzbergas has achieved several striking solo exhibitions, including Crown Off in the Centre of Contemporary Art (CAC) in Vilnius (2015), in the Kim? Centre of Contemporary Art in Riga (2011) and in the Oxford Museum of Modern Art, UK (2005). He has presented his works at international group shows at the 33rd São Paulo Art Biennial (2018), Riga International Biennial of Contemporary Art (RIBOCA) (2018), About the Trees in Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern (2016), Sculpture Quadrennial Riga (2016), Million Lines exhibition in Bunkier Sztuki in Krakow (2015), Liverpool Biennial of Contemporary Art. (2010), and Baltic Triennial (2009). He lives and works in Vilnius.

Aušra Trakšelytė                       Vilnius, Lithuania

(1981) is an art historian, critic and curator. She finished PhD studes at Vilnius Academy of Arts (2012). Aušra is interested in site-specific art and theory, exploring it in different formats – contemporary art exhibitions, public discussions and publications. She has been writing articles, essays and exhibition reviews since 2003; curating art projects and exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad since 2004. Worked as an assistant of Lithuanian Pavilion at the 53th Venice Biennale and has attended an internship at the Manifesta 7 European Biennal of contemporary art. 2013 - 2015 she organised Vilnius Street Art festival; and from 2018 is initiator and curator of apiece window gallery, exhibiting a single artwork of contemporary visual art or conceptual design object at a time.

Goodhearter Wisher - Vytautas Viržbickas                       Vilnius, Lithuania

Goodhearter Wisher, formerly known as Vytautas Viržbickas (born 1987), mainly creates figurative sculptures and installations that become three-dimensional illustrations of complex internal states and literary plots. Vytautas Viržbickas graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts with a master’s degree in sculpture and has held solo exhibitions at Le Magasin National Center for Contemporary Art in Grenoble, Si:said gallery in Klaipėda, and Vartai gallery in Vilnius; he has actively participated in group exhibitions at the Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius, Nida Art Colony, art fairs such as Artisstima (2015) and Viennacontemporary (2016).

Jurors

Alessandro Terzo                       Palermo, Italy

Alessandro Terzo replaced Judge Sabin Howard who was, unfortunately, unavailable to vote on the dates we indicated. Alessandro was born in Palermo, Sicily, where he first studied Metal Art at the Art Institute and then Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2006, he has been working and teaching Sculpture and Visual Education in various high schools in Rome. He participates in several group exhibitions and realizations of sets for the theatre, as well as commissioned works. In 2017, he obtained the chair of Sculpture at the "Caravaggio" Art School in Rome.

Attila Ledényi                       Budapest, Hungary  

Founder and CEO of the art management agency EDGE Communications, he is PR professional, art and communication advisor and collector. 
Attila launched numerous cultural and fine art projects including various events, exhibitions, festivals and the Art Collectors Club and Collectors Award in Hungary. 
He is listed among the most influential persons on the Műértő art magazine's Art Power 50 every year. 

Marcello Smarelli                       Rome, Italy 

Marcello Smarelli  is an art historian, critic, curator, professor of Art and Design History at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Rome La Sapienza, and Artistic Director of the Pastificio Cerere Foundation in Rome.  Founder and curator of the 6ARTISTA program for young artists, organized in collaboration with Civita, Pastificio Cerere Foundation and Allianz, he is also Artistic Director of the Ermanno Casoli Foundation.  He is a member of Nuovi Mecenati, the French-Italian Foundation for the support of contemporary art in Italy.

Jan Tutaj                       Krakow, Poland

Jan Tutaj is the Dean of the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, where he runs the 1st Sculpture Studio for 2nd-5th year students.
  He presented his works at 15 individual exhibitions (Palace of Art and White Gallery in Krakow) and participated in over 70 exhibitions and group shows in Poland and abroad (Lyon - France, Ronneby - Sweden, Colorado Springs - USA, Sakaide - Japan, Tampere - Finland, Venice - Italy). 
He realized Jan Matejko's monument in Krakow and participated in several international open-air workshops and sculptural symposia.

Jacek Chromy                       Warsaw, Poland 

Jacek Chromy is President of the Foundation for the Promotion of Arts and the Arts Promotion Office in Warsaw, Poland.
He was a project manager of project Skarbiec Mazowiecki, co-financed by the European Union, and director of the Archdiocese Publishing House in Warsaw. 
Curator of the Museum of Literature and head of the Publishing Department in Warsaw, he received the Gold Medal Ecclesiae Populoque Servitium Praestanti. 
He has organised exhibitions in London, Budapest and Moscow. He has curated many museum exhibitions in Poland and Belarus

Francesca Cundari                       Florence, Italy 

Francesca Cundari is Director of the iSculpture Gallery, in San Gimignano and Casole d’Elsa, Italy.
Her gallery is the first Contemporary Art Gallery featuring only Italian Sculptors, promoting the work of young sculptors over the years.
Francesca Cundari is the person behind the San Gimignano 1300  project and she organizes events and individual exhibitions, accompanied by site-specific installations, publication of catalogues and international promotion.

Joanna Longawa                       Krakow, Poland / Rome, Italy

MArteLive Europe - Sculpture Curator

Polish Journalist writing in Italian, English and Spanish based in Rome. Editor in chief and founder of the JL Interviews art magazine in English. Foreign correspondent of Trendy.
